Say Goodbye to Fragile Prints: Introducing Aera LGX & Aera MDX
For years, the biggest drawback of highly detailed 3D printed models was their fragility. A single accidental bump could shatter hours of intricate work. Historically, when it came to the resin offerings on the market, there had to be a trade off. They were either designed for high resolution- for very detailed models, or they were designed for durability. The latter being designed fot practical use prints- handles, clips, and things that needed to be durable for every day use.
The problem has been that the resins designed for durability have not been able to hold high detail, and the high-resolution resins have been too delicate. We put a lot of time and effort into sourcing the most durable resins for our application. We have found that the high resolution resin offerings have improved over time, but we never got to a place that was really comparable to the durability of traditional cast polyurethane kits.
Those days are officially over.
We decided to make our own. After copious trials and tribulation, Ancient Era Artistry is now the undisputed leader of durable, Ultra high resolution 3D printed model kits. We are introducing our new, insanely durable, ultra-high-detail proprietary polymer resin blends: Aera LGX and Aera MDX.
Stronger Than Polyurethane: These new polymer blends are engineered for extreme toughness, making them significantly more durable than traditional polyurethane cast resin kits.
Tailored for Perfection: Aera LGX and Aera MDX feature slightly different mechanical properties designed to maximize print quality. But don't worry about the technical guesswork—we will automatically choose the perfect resin blend (or combination) that best suits the unique geometry and needs of the specific model you order.
