THE ARCHOSAUR ASYLUM VOL.23: Filling Out 2025

Hey all! I'm roaring with excitement here at Ancient Era Artistry as I roll on through 2025! I've been hard at work in the lab (okay, maybe it's more of a workshop), sculpting, designing, and refining some truly spectacular additions to my Mesozoic lineup. Get ready to clear some space on your shelves because you won't want to miss what I've got in store.

New Models Erupting from the Cretaceous Clay:

I'm thrilled to announce two brand-new solo model kits that have already taking shape:

• "Survivor" Solo Styracosaurus Model Kit: This isn't your average herbivore! My "Survivor" Styracosaurus depicts a battle-hardened individual, complete with realistic scarring and a steadfast pose. Imagine this magnificent ceratopsian holding its ground against a hungry predator –

  "Lozen," her scarred hide a testament to the countless trials she has endured. Once a fierce combatant in the primeval struggle for survival, she now stands resolute atop an igneous rock, surveying the land she has fought to claim. Her massive horned frill bears the marks of old skirmishes, each one a story of defiance and resilience. Her amber eyes burn with an indomitable will. Lozen is a legend, a "Survivor," and a guardian of all that she surveys.

• "A Fine Example" Solo Paralititan Model Kit: This Paralititan model showcases the sheer scale and majesty of one of the largest dinosaurs to ever walk the Earth. "A Fine Example" captures the grace and power of this colossal sauropod, making it a centerpiece for any collection.

"Hippolyta," the Paralititan matriarch of the mangroves, reared onto her hind legs, her immense frame blotting out the rising sun.  Jagged gouges from ancient battles marred her flanks, deep craters and scars that whispered of predators' teeth.  Teeth that had failed to bring her down.

Preproduction limited to 1-5 numbered kits: Continuing with preproduction kits which I first debuted in 2023, all new model kits (1:35+), that are not otherwise designated to a limited edition set will begin with five badged preproduction units. The first five will also come with a certificate of authenticity. You have to get in early to snatch one of these for your collection!

I've heard your requests loud and clear! I'm now including 1:18 scale as a regular offering for many of my kits, providing a fantastic balance between detail and display size. But that's not all! Speaking of stunning displays, I have to give a shout-out to the incredible work of Javier Peces (Dinocomisions) and Shane Foulkes on my "Bighorn Bash" Styracosaurus combatants model kit. Their artistry and attention to detail have truly brought these battling behemoths to life. The realistic colors and textures capture the raw power and intensity of a prehistoric clash.
